This was a beautiful sound editing maelstrom.

Desperados turned a regular train in Warsaw into a live music creation tool with electronic music maestros Mount Kimbie.

The train became one of Mount Kimbie’s instruments, with data from external RFID sensors on the train track being converted to midi information. The band then used this to trigger their synths. The train’s speed also influenced the tempo of the track – which made splicing the sound rushes together doubly challenging!
