The Vegas Strip 3D digital billboard is an eye-catching and media attention-grabbing initial placement for this intriguing spot from Cox Communications, touting their latest ultra-fast fibre offering.

The film was sound designed and mixed in 5.1 for cinema release and is delightfully dialogue-free (yay!) and adorned with a fitting orchestral score expertly penned by Monster Music.

One of the most impeccably-timed playouts and smartest pieces of marketing you’ll encounter.

Picture the scene: it’s nearly midnight on new year’s eve in Madrid and the famed host, Cristina Pedroche, is about to reveal her outfit. She wears a diamond and ruby-studded diadem, and her head-necklace sparkles in the anticipation. As the bells sound and the fireworks begin, Pedroche wears a troubled expression and hurridly asks her production team and co-host where her necklace has disappeared to.

It’s a heist. But not in the normal sense. Estrella and Netflix have joined forces to promote season one of Berlin, the spin-off from the global hit series Money Heist (La Casa De Papel).

A delightful piece of sound sculpting subtlety for this important awareness film for Malaria.

David was green-screen giving a speech, knowing that the backdrop was going to be a vast assembly hall in the year 2050, which then morphed back to the present day.

Having done some research on voice aging, I asked David if he could record several takes of the script where he stooped and shallowed his breathing (slightly, we didn’t want to get into law suits ;-) ) and also attempt to add a little rasp, as if his voicebox had had 70-odd years of use. The takes that came back from the shoot were amazingly good (well done David - great acting!) and I further aged the tone by adding wobble, breath and distortion artefacts. If you listen carefully to his voice after the transition, you’ll hear that it’s cleaner and younger-sounding than in the first 30 seconds of the film.
