Picture the scene: it’s nearly midnight on new year’s eve in Madrid and the famed host, Cristina Pedroche, is about to reveal her outfit. She wears a diamond and ruby-studded diadem, and her head-necklace sparkles in the anticipation. As the bells sound and the fireworks begin, Pedroche wears a troubled expression and hurridly asks her production team and co-host where her necklace has disappeared to.

It’s a heist. But not in the normal sense. Estrella and Netflix have joined forces to promote season one of Berlin, the spin-off from the global hit series Money Heist (La Casa De Papel).
